ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file its final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C., in Cr. No.2364 of 2017 for the offences under Section 294(b), 448 IPC and Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Property (PRVNT. of damage and Loss) Act, 1992, before the appropriate Magistrate Court having Jurisdiction within a period.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 06.10.2017, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
