.. Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt Courts Act, to punish the respondent for his wilful, intentional and deliberate disobedience to implement the order of this Court dated 13.02.2012 in W.P.No.15208 of 2008.

O R D E R

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the order passed by this Court on 13.02.2012 in W.P.No.15208 of 2008 has been complied with.

2. In this regard, the Government issued G.O.(D) No.261, Home (Transport II) Department, dated 07.03.2019 and paragraph Nos. 5 & 6 of the Government

Order is extracted hereunder:

"5.The Government after careful examination have decided to accept the request of the Transport Commissioner and accordingly order that the suspension period from 28.07.1995 to 04.10.1995 in respect of Thiru K.Mani, formerly Regional Transport Officer (Compulsorily Retired) be regulated as duty period under ruling 9 of FR 54-B.

6.The Transport Commissioner is also directed to take immediate further action to fix the pay of Thiru K.Mani, formerly Regional Transport Officer (Compulsorily Retired) and to settle the terminal benefits, so as to enable him to receive the same at the earliest."

3. The respondents have to settle the monetary benefits, if any, left out as per the Government Order in G.O.(D).No.261.

4. With these observations, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
