PRAYER:

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to direct the respondent to consider his representation dated 11.08.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, the respondent has erected four giant transmission towers in the middle of the petitioner's land, in the year 2015. The respondent Corporation has not paid any compensation to the petitioner. The petitioner has approached the respondent Corporation several times. So far no compensation amount has been paid by the respondent but the petitioner was driven from pillar to post. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforesaid prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Mr.Kalyana Raman, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent Corporation and submitted that the said representation of the petitioner will be considered as per law within the time fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall produce a copy of his representation, along with this order, to the respondent.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
