COMMON ORDER These writ petitions are filed seeking direction to the respondents to pay the difference in pay due to anamoly in fixation of pay by considering the petitioners' representations.
2. The petitioners have joined the Government Service initially as Assistant Inspector, Local Fund Audit Department through TNPSC. Thereafter, the petitioners have been promoted to the post of Deputy Inspector and subsequently promoted to the post of Inspector. Thereafter, the petitioners retired from the service as Assistant Director on different dates. It is the claim of the petitioners that there is anamoly in fixation of pay between the seniors and the petitioners. The petitioners state that the first respondent is the competent authority to rectify the anamoly in the fixation of pay as per the proceeding of the Government in Letter No.45113/U.Ku/2009-1, Finance Department dated 17.08.2009. However, even after several representations, the request of the petitioners have not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have filed the present writ petitions.

3. The earlier order passed by the Government dated 31.07.2017 has been brought to the notice of this Court. Under the circumstances, the representations of the petitioners submitted on various dates, is directed to be considered by the *Third respondent and the proposals shall be forwarded to the
first respondent for consideration, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the first respondent, after receipt of the proposals from the * concerned Respondent, shall consider the proposals and pass final orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
