Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision dated 20.08.2018 in respect petitioner's land in S.No.89/3 an extent of 1.06.5 Hectares of dry lands in Thandiappanur Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District within a specific time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision dated 20.08.2018 in respect of seeking patta for his land in S.No.89/3 to an extent of 1.06.5 Hectares of dry lands in Thandiappanur Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner filed a revision before the first respondent on 20.08.2018, as against the order of the second respondent dated 31.07.2018 dismissing the appeal filed by the petitioner challenging the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.6936/2016.
4. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to pass orders on the revision filed by the petitioner dated 20.08.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
