Respondent PRAYER: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent/Tahsildar, Sankarapuram to grant Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the Punja lands to an extent of 2.83 Acres with half share in the well with 5 HP Motor & Pump set fixed therein having E.B. service connection No.94, comprised in Survey No.5/5, Vide Patta No.421, Punja lands to an extent of 1.14 Acres comprised in S.No.5/10, vide Patta No.9; punja lands to an extent of 1.23 Acres in S.No.7/9 Vide Patta No.466 situated in Thirukkanangur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District as per judgement and decree passed in O.S.No.294/2006 dated 07.07.2006 granted by District Munsiff Court, Kallakurichi. Heard, Mr.R.Balasubramaniam, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Suresh Kumar, the learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 19.06.2017 requesting to issue a separate Patta in respect of lands measuring an extent of 2.83, 1.14 & 1.23 acres respectively comprised in S.Nos.5/5, 5/10 & 7/9 situated at Thirukkanankur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.06.2017 claiming the relief as prayed for in this Writ Petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
