Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents more particularly to the fourth respondent to take action on the petitioner's representations dated 16.08.2017 and 08.10.2018 respectively for issue of retirement order from 31.05.2017 A.N. being superannuation date and consequently pass order for payment of terminal benefits like Gratuity, bonus, leave salary, E.P.F., return of Security Deposit, F.B.F. etc., with attendant benefits.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking directions to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, by which the petitioners has sought for the payment of terminal benefits.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.
3. The petitioner was appointed as a cashier in the year 1978 in the C-1703 Sholingar Milk Producers, Co-operative Society. In the year 2011, the petitioner was promoted as Deputy Manager and in the year 2013, he was promoted as General Manager and he reached the age of superannuation on 31.05.2017. But till date, the retirment order has not been issued by the President C1703 Sholingar Milk Producers Society. During the petitioner's tenure in the Society, there was neither misappropriation of funds nor any criminal action taken against him.
4. In view of the limited relief sought for, without dwelling into the meris or otherwise of the matter and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
