O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.444 of 2018, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Vellore. 2.During pendency of the proceedings, the parties have decided to compromise the dispute among themselves. The defactocomplainant was present before this Court and he stated that the parties have mutually compromised the dispute among themselves and there is no need to continue further with the proceedings and the same can be closed. The first petitioner who has been arrayed as A1 was also present before this Court and he has also reiterated, the same stand taken by the second respondent. 3.In view of the above development and also in view of the fact that the offence involved is minor in nature, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings pending before the Court below.

4.In the result, the proceedings in C.C.No.444 of 2018, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Vellore is hereby quashed on the ground of compromise. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
