2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the objection/representation dated 17.07.2018 against the proposal of increasing water tax and deposit amount.

3. Heard both sides.

4. It is seen that the third respondent has issued a paper publication on 26.06.2018 inviting objections from the public as against the proposal to increase the water tax and deposit amount. It is stated that the petitioner has also sent the objections on 17.07.2018 within the time stipulated and however, the said objection is yet to be considered.

5. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made in the objection/representation dated 17.07.2018, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to consider the objection/representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
