O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer the service connections standing in the name of the erstwhile tenant M/s.HCL Technologies Limited, to transfer the name of the petitioner and the members of hi Huf in terms of the representation dated 30.07.2018.

2. It is the grievance of the the petitioner that he is the co-owner of the property at Door No.137 Old No.109, Poonamallee High Road. M/s.HCL Technologies was inducted as a tenant in the above said property and a dispute arose between the respondents and the Hcl Technologies with regard to current consumption charges. In the meanwhile, the above said company vacated the premises. Thereafter, on 30.07.2018, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents to transfer the service connection standing in the name of the HCL Technologies and the same was not considered so far. Without having no other alternative remedy, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
