O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of the writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner on 12.09.2018 and to survey the land. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 04.02.1985. The further case of the petitioner is that Patta has been already issued in favour of the petitioner and Chitta and Adangal also reflects the name of the petitioner. The petitioner has made an application on 12.09.2018 to respondents 2 and 3 and has also paid the necessary charges to survey the land. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions. 3.Heard Mr.K.V.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr, Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall 2/4

3 W.P.No.34362 of 2018 be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application filed by the petitioner on 12.09.2018 and take a decision with regard to the survey of land strictly in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks (12) from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall make a fresh representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents along with a copy of the application dated 12.09.2018 and a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
