ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking direction to the 3rd respondent to pass final orders in the statutory appeal, dated 25.9.18, preferred by the petitioner as against the order of dismissal dated 21.8.18 passed by the 2nd respondent.

2. Mr. K.K.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate (Forest) accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it would be suffice to direct the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to consider the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner in the light of the decision of the Division Bench of this court in 2008 (5) MLJ 646 and the order dated 23.8.2017 passed by this Court in W.P. No.12604 of 2013 within a stipulated time frame.

In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the statutory appeal dated 25.9.2018, submitted by the petitioner in terms of judgments referred to in para-3 (supra) and pass orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
