JUDGMENT

(By Dr.Vineet Kothari,J.) Learned counsel for the Respondent-Corporation of Chennai has produced before us a copy of the proceedings of the Corporation in Z.O.8.R.D.C.No.R1/3036/2019, dated 21.06.2019, whereby the Zonal Officer, Zone-8, has withdrawn the Notice, demanding the Property Tax of Rs.76,22,447/- against the Appellant-Assessee-Indralok Hotel Pvt. Ltd., and corrected the same as Rs.3,38,952/-, for the period I/2006-2007.

2. In view of the said document having been produced before us and a copy of which has been given to the learned counsel for the Appellant-Assessee, learned counsel for the Appellant-Assessee does not want to press this Writ Appeal on merits, as the same has become infructuous, upon withdrawal and correction of the Property Tax made by the RespondentCorporation against the Appellant-Assessee for the period I/2006-2007.

3. In view of the aforesaid development, this Writ Appeal is disposed of, for having been rendered infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected C.M.P.Nos.23463 and 23465 of 2018 stand closed.
