Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner from closing the TASMAC Shop No.8882, running at Survey No.83/32,No.166 ,Arcot Road ,valasaravakam , Chennai. 87 and the bar attached with the above said shop by allowing the petitioner to run the bar attached with the above said TASMAC shop.

O R D E R

Mr.P.Arumurajan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 1st to 3rd respondents. Mr.I.Sathish, learned Additional Government pleader takes notice for the 4th respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner from closing the TASMAC Shop No.8882, running at Survey No.83/32, and the bar attached to the above said shop by allowing the petitioner to run the bar attached with the above said TASMAC shop.

3. The petitioner is a licensee to run the bar attached to the subject matter Shop. His apprehension is that the respondents are going to close the shop without any valid reason, thereby subjecting the petitioner to heavy financial loss.

4. On the other hand, the learned standing counsel appearing for the 1st to 3rd respondents, based on instructions, submitted that there is no such proposal to close the TASMAC Shop No.8882 at the place in which it is presently functioning.

5. Mr.S.Balasubramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above statement made on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 may be recorded and the writ petition be closed.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed by recording the said submissions made on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
