Heard, Mr.K.Murugan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, the learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner Association has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider its representation dated 04.10.2017, for cancellation of name change made by an organization bearing Registration No.227/1990, in the resemblance of petitioner Association after conducting due enquiry.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner Association has submitted a representation dated 04.10.2017, claiming the relief as prayed for in this Writ Petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner Association, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
