Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the I Additional Labour Court's Order dated 05.04.2018 in Claim Petition No.76 of 2016 and quash the same. ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that dues to the tune of Rs.21,73,272/- has already been deposited before the I Additional Labour Court, Chennai. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent also verified the cheque issued by the writ petitioner management, which was deposited before the Labour Court concerned.

2.In view of all the facts and circumstances and the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties that the amount of Rs.21,73,272/- has already been deposited before the Labour Court, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that the Execution Petition 1/2

filed by the workman is pending, in view of the deposit of entire amount by the writ petitioner management, the Labour Court is directed to close the Execution Petition as well as the claim petition and settle the said amount in favour of the workman.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
