O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has entered in to an agreement of sale with one Natarajan and in this regard, the petitioner has also received an advance of Rs.50,000/- from the said Natarajan. Since the said Natarajan did not pay the balance amount, the petitioner did not execute any sale deed in favour of the said Natarajan. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. It seems that Natarajan has given police complaint in this regard and according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent police is calling the petitioner for an enquiry. The dispute in question is purely civil in nature and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case like this. The parties will have to agitate only in a Competent Civil Court. The respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner by calling for a enquiry.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
