Prayer in W.P.No.31210 of 2018: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Sanar Pudur Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District on 05.12.2018 between 06.00PM to 11.00PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2018.

Prayer in W.P.No.31213 of 2018: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal) in the event of R.Pudupalayam Arulmigu Sree Selva Vinayagar Temple Festival at Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District on 15.01.2018 between 06.00PM to 11.00PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2018.

C O M M O N O R D E R Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent had already granted the permission to the petitioners for conducting Cultural Programme, based on the representations submitted by them, as per the conditions relied on in the Circular Memorandum issued by Director General of Police and in support of the same, he has also produced communication of the Sub-Inspector of Police dated 26.11.2018.

2. In view of the same, the relief sought for in these petitions has become infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
