(ii) stay of the operation of the order passed by the II Additional Family Court, Chennai in M.C.No.327/2017 dated 10.07.2018. [ IN CRL.MP.NO.16006 OF 2018 ] Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.VALLIAPPAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.THENMOZHI SHIVA PERUMAL on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This criminal revision case has been filed by the husband against the order dated 10.07.2018 in M.C.No.327 of 2017 granting maintenance of Rs.40,000/- per month by the learned III Additional Principal Judge, Full Additional Charge to II Additional Family Court, Chennai.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner/husband, the arrears of maintenance works out to Rs.5,50,000/-.

There shall be an order of interim stay on condition that the petitioner/husband shall deposit 50% of the arrears of maintenance within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, such deposit is not made within the stipulated time, the interim order shall stand vacated automatically without any further reference to this Court.
