Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad Additional Government Pleader Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to revise and refix the petitioner's seniority and pay scale and confer the selection grade scale of pay, further promotion to the post of Cooperative Audit Officer and consequently revise and refix the petitioner's pensionary benefits confer the benefits within a prescribed period by considering the representation dated 12.2.2018.

The petitioner joined as Junior Inspector of Cooperative Societies through Employment Exchange on 13.06.1984, under Rule 10(a) (i) of General Rules. He was regularised on 20.12.2015 with retrospective effect from 16.10.1989. He reached the age of superannuation and permitted to retire from service with retrospective effect from 30.06.2008 as per the order dated 06.11.2009 . The petitioner submitted a representation on 12.02.2018 to revise and refix the petitioner's seniority and pay scale and confer the selection grade scale of pay, further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
promotion to the post of Cooperative Audit Officer. As the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
2. Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it is not necessary to dwell into the merits of the issue, but it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance within law, within a limited time frame.
4. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance within law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
