Seeking disbursement of the Provident Fund, gratuity and other benefits to the tune of Rs.21,90,214/-, alongwith interest at 8.75% (till date of payment to the petitioner), this writ petition came to be filed.
2. The petitioner, who retired from service on superannuation on 30.06.2017, is repeatedly sending representations to all the concerned authorities and is awaiting to receive balance of retirement benefits. According to the petitioner, he is eligible to receive the total amount of Rs.23,19,217/- as retirement benefits, i.e., gratuity, EPF, earned leave salary from the third respondent. But the third respondent has paid only a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- on the date of his retirement and the balance amount is due. The petitioner has sent several representations and finally, through lawyer, on 20.09.2018. As his representations do not receive any response, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr.D.Venkatachalam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the limited relief sought for, without dwelling into the merits or otherwise of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation, dated 20.09.2018, preferred by the petitioner, including the one sent through lawyer, and to pass orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
