Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the 2nd respondent in No.989/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 27.10.2018 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's husband, viz., Srinivasan @ Seenu, son of Perumal aged about 36 years detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J) Petitioner, wife of the detenu herein, viz., Srinivasan @ Seenu, son of Perumal, aged about 36 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 27.12.2018 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of http://www.judis.nic.in
M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J., AND M.NIRMAL KUMAR, J., AP Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner herein dated 27.10.2018, has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.5579, Home, Prohibition & Excise [X] Department dated 21.12.2018 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
