Respondents For Petitioner :

M/s.A.M.Packianathan Easter For Respondent :

Mrs.P.Kavitha, Government Advocate for R1 and R2 Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the recommendations of the 5th and 6th respondents made in the petitioners application for the post of

P.G.Assistant in Danish Mission Higher Secondary School, Thiruvannamalai District dated 06.02.2018.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the recommendations of the 5th and 6th respondents dated 06.02.2018 made in the petitioners application for the post of P.G.Assistant in Danish Mission Higher Secondary School, Thiruvannamalai District. As the said recommendation has not been considered, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner has been appointed as B.T.Assistant by the third respondent in the Danish Mission Higher Secondary School, Thiruvannamalai by an order dated 30.09.2006. She applied for the retirement vacancy of P.G.Assistant (Zoology) in the same school. It is the claim of the petitioner that the said application has been recommended by the sixth respondent and in turn the fifth respondent also has recommended the same to third and fourth respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that despite the recommendation has already been made in favour of the petitioner, the third and fourth respondents have not yet passed any orders and that has made the petitioner to file the present writ petition.

3. Ms.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate (Education) takes notice for the first and second respondents.

4. It is not in dispute that the fifth and sixth respondents have already forwarded their recommendations to the appointing authority viz., third and fourth respondents.

5. Under the circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it fit to direct the third and fourth respondents to consider the recommendations of the 5th and 6th respondents dated 06.02.2018, pursuant to the petitioners application for the post of P.G.Assistant in Danish Mission Higher Secondary School, Thiruvannamalai District within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
