This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the investigation in Crime No.493 of 2018, pending on the file of the first respondent Police. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and the final report will be filed very shortly.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent Police to file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the final report, after it is filed, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
