ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner, who is the father of the detenu viz., Venkatesan, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to grant one day parole to his son/Remand Accused/Venkatesan, to participate in the death ceremony of his brother Babu held on 27.11.2018 at 5.00 p.m. at Enchembakkam Buriel Ground.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner as also learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

3. This Court by order dated 27.11.2018 has granted leave for a period of two days to the remand prisoner Venkatesan and the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of this Court dated 27.11.2018 has been complied with and the detenu has been sent to prison.

5. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
