Mr.R.S.Selvam, Government Advocate Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2018 for regularizing our service on and after completion of 10 years service on the basis, as per the G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.2.2006 and within a time to be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

The petitioner, was working as Typist in daily wages basis at Panchayat Union, Tenkasi from 1999. Subsequently, he was engaged as Computer Operator from 26.03.2015. It is the claim of the petitioner that though she has completed requisite number of years for being brought into regular time scale of pay as per G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006, her case has not been considered. She has sent a representation to the respondents in this regard on 02.06.2018, which also did not evoke any response. 2. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it is not necessary to dwell into the merits of the issue, but it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of the Government Order cited supra and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame.

4. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2018 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006 and pass orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
