ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filedto direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.586 of 2015 dated 23.06.2015 within the stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Court pending investigation of the respondent police and investigate the same and file the final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 23.06.2015, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
