O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Contending inter alia that Arulmighu Vedanayaki Sametha Sangameswarar Temple, Bhavani, Erode District has not been maintained properly, sanitation and basic amenities not provided and there is no sufficient accommodation facilities to the devotees coming from neighbouring States and from all over the Country, petitioner claiming himself to be a devotee of the said deity at Arulmighu Vedanayaki Sametha Sangameswarar Temple, Bhavani, has sent a representation dated 16.04.2018, to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, which was duly forwarded by the Special Officer, Hon'ble Chief Minister's Special Cell, to the respondents and contending further that no action has been taken, instant writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the first respondent the District Collector, Erode District to consider his representation dated 16.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Materials on record discloses that subsequently, petitioner filed W.M.P.No.4309 of 2019 to implead the Assistant Commissioner / Executive Officer, Arulmigu Srisangameswarar Thirukoil, Kooduthurai, Bhavani, Erode district as second respondent, this Court vide order dated 08.02.2019, directed impleadment.

3. On this day, when the matter came up for further hearing, inviting the attention of this Court to the photographs taken inside and outside of Arulmigu Srisangameswarar Thirukoil, Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) submitted that sanitation and other basic amenities have been provided and there is sufficient accommodation for the visitors coming from various parts of the country and that the place is maintained clean and tidy and the alleged deficiencies pointed out by the petitioner are erroneous.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) further submitted that a suitable reply would be given to the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2018.

5. Placing on record the above, instant writ petition is disposed of directing the Assistant Commissioner / Executive Officer, Arulmigu Srisangameswarar Thirukoil, Bhavani, Erode District / second respondent herein, to send a reply to the petitioner, within a period of one week, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) is directed to inform the order of this Court to the second respondent forthwith. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
