O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2018 and provide him Electricity Connection at the earliest to enable the petitioner to cultivate his lands using bore well.

2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the petitioner had submitted an application seeking free agricultural electricity connection for the purpose of irrigation in his lands. It is stated that the application was submitted on 19.12.2017 and same was already registered by the respondent.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent made a submission that free electricity service connection for agricultural purposes would be granted by following the rules and in accordance with the seniority. The terms and conditions are stipulated for the purpose of granting free electricity service connection for irrigation purposes.

4.Thus, this Court is of an opinion that the case of the petitioner also shall be considered in accordance with the rules in force and as per the application seniority. The case of the petitioner shall be considered whenever his turn comes and petitioner cannot seek any priority or otherwise contrary to the rules in force.

5.This being the factum of the case, the relief as such sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted. 6.With these observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
