Respondents PRAYER : This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner to run his Rich shop namely MPS Traders situated at Santhanimedu, in Tindivanam Taluk, Vilupuram District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 26.10.2018 and order investigation in accordance with law.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking for police protection for running the shop belonging to the petitioner. 2.It is seen from the records that this petitioner had some money dealing with the respondents 4 to 6 and the petitioner was repaying back the money. The respondent thereafter was insisting for the payment of the money and according to the petitioner, they are not permitting him to run the shop. Therefore, this petition has been filed seeking for police protection.
3.The dispute involved in this case is purely civil in nature. The petitioner has to approach appropriate Civil Court by filing suit for injunction against the persons who are preventing the petitioner from running the shop. The petitioner cannot straight away approach this Court seeking for police protection. The police cannot interfere in a matter of this nature.
