O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer of the petitioner is that direction be issued to the respondent no.3 viz., The Tahsildar, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District and respondent no.4 viz., The Block Development Officer, Rishivandhiyam, Villupuram District to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 6 to 8 in the public road comprised in S.No.120, situated at Vengalam Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District.

2.The learned Government Pleader (i/c) has brought to the notice of this Court that notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 has been issued to the respondent nos.6 to 8 on 06.12.2018. He states that after the expiry of the statutory period mentioned in the notice, they will proceed in accordance with law.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader(i/c), no further direction is required. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
