ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for Police protection to the petitioner and her husband.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner fell in love with one Jayakumar. Thereafter, the petitioner got married to the said Jayakumar on 15.11.2018 and the said marriage has also been registered. The petitioner and her husband are now facing life threat from the parents of the petitioner and therefore, a representation has been given to the respondent police seeking for police protection. Since no action has been taken, this petition has been filed before this Court. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to call the parties for an enquiry and give appropriate instructions. If the life threat continues, immediately action shall be taken against the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

concerned persons. If required, the third respondent is also directed to give police protection to the petitioner and her husband.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above directions.
