Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant parole for 15 days to the petitioner's daughter namely Priya, wife of Gopi, aged about 30 years, Life Convict Prisoner, (Convict No.844), confined at Women Special Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, to visit her father and children at her home and set her at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] This petition has been filed by petitioner/mother of the life convict (CT 844) Priya, Wife of Gopi, who is now confined at Women Special Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, seeking a direction to respondents to grant 15 days Parole for her daughter.

2. This Court, by an order dated 11.12.2018, has granted one week Leave to the detenu i.e., from 14.12.2018 to 21.12.2018 towards visiting her ailing father as also her children and directed the Registry to list the matter on 02.01.2019 for "Reporting Compliance".
