This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner
dated 20.11.2018, in accordance with law and conduct enquiry on the headmaster, school Management of Dr.Arulappa Higher Secondary School, Near Pair Village, Cheyyurtaluk, Kancheepuram District and permit the petitioner's son Harikrishnakumar to join the school (12th standard) taking into consideration of the petitioner's son's education to secure the ends of justice.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son Minor Harikrishna Kumar, while studying 12th Standard in Dr.Arulappa Higher Secondary School in Neer Peyar Village, Ceyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, was beaten up by the maths teacher for not bringing the maths record book for vacation class. As his son came and reported the matter to the petitioner, he went to school and questioned the teacher about this for which he was also beaten up and insulted by the staff. Hence, he lodged a compliant before the Inspector of Police, C.2, Chithamur Police Station, Kancheepuram District. The Inspector of police as well as the Sub Inspector of police had compromised the matter between the petitioner and the school authorities.
However, taking vengeance against the petitioner for lodging the complaint against the maths teacher, the petitioner's son was asked not to come to school. Therefore, the petitioner went to the school and requested the headmaster to permit his son to attend the school. Since, the headmaster refused to admit his son, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 on 20.11.2018, seeking to conduct enquiry on the headmaster and school Management of Dr.Arulappa Higher Secondary School, Near Pair Village, Cheyyurtaluk, Kancheepuram District and permit the petitioner's son Harikrishnakumar to join the school taking into consideration of the petitioner's son's education. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come to this Court seeking for the aforesaid relief.
3. Heard Mr.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4. This Court is unable to find any merit in this writ petition, the reason being that while it is the own admission of the petitioner that the teacher rightly questioned his son for not bringing the maths record book for vacation class, the petitioner being a responsible father ought to have advised his son to carry with him all the school books while going to school. Without properly appreciating the mistake committed by his son, who failed to carry the relevant books to the school, he should not have indulged in a fight with the poor teachers. As the petitioner had gone to the school and picked-up quarrel with the staff, teacher and headmaster and again had rushed to police station and lodged a complaint, without any justification this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition.
Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
No costs.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar arr To
