By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition in reference No.12885/2017 within time frame.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner filed a revision before the first respondent on 20.03.2017 against the eviction order passed by the second respondent on 20.11.2016. Since no orders have been passed on the said revision, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. Heard Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to pass orders on the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 20.03.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent herein and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fourth respondent herein as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that pending disposal of the said revision petition, the order of the second respondent dated 20.02.2017 which was impugned in the revision petition, shall not be proceeded with.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
