..Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the First Respondent to Transfer the Investigation in Crime No.4 of 2018, on the file of Second Respondent herein and to entrust the Investigation to CB CID the third respondent herein to conduct further investigation in accordance with law to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Cr.No.4 of 2018, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is running a self women help group in her village and various amounts were deposited by the people belonging to the village. These amounts collected by the

petitioner was circulated on rotation and four of the accused persons, who received a sum of Rs.11 lakhs did not return the amount. Therefore, in turn, the petitioner was not able to repay back to others. The petitioner gave a complaint to the 2nd respondent Police against the five persons and an FIR was registered in Cr.No.4 of 2018. Since the investigation was not conducted properly, this petition has been filed seeking for transfer of further investigation.

3. The Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Cuddalore, has filed a status report before this Court. The status report reveals the entire investigation conducted by the 2nd respondent. This Court does not find any ground to transfer the investigation and the 2nd respondent can continue with the investigation and shall file a final report. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to continue with the investigation and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
