The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to provide electricity connection to the petitioner house situated at No.66/91, First Floor, 8th Street, Kamarajar Colony, Kodambakkam, Chennai-600 024.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the civil dispute between the family members are going on and on account of such civil disputes, the respondents are not providing electricity service connection in the name of the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner. Thus, the petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.
3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted a letter dated 14.11.2018 by Assistant Engineer (O&M)/ EAST/TNEB Ashok Nagar, Chennai, stating that the writ petitioner had not produced all the required documents for the purpose of considering the case of the writ petitioner. In other words, the petitioner, in the event of submitting all the necessary documents, the case of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code.
4.In view of the submissions made by the respondents, the writ petitioner is directed to submit an application along with all necessary documents as per rules in force, enabling the respondents to consider the application submitted by the writ petitioner for providing electricity service connection in the premises, in which, the petitioner resides. In the event of receiving any such application in complete format from the writ petitioner, the same shall be considered by the respondents without any undue delay and at the earliest possible. 5.With these observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
