PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's three representations all dated 02.07.2018 submitted to the first respondent and pass necessary orders and take necessary action in accordance with law.

The present Writ Petition is heard through Video Conferencing today.

2. The prayer in the present Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's three representations, all dated 02.07.2018, submitted to him and pass necessary orders. The first respondent has filed the counter affidavit dated 09.07.2021, wherein it is stated that out of the three representations, the first representation with regard to the application for the award of Senior Scientist, was already replied on 31.08.2018; the second representation with regard to typographical error appeared in the Molecular Diagnostics in the Control of Disease question paper at Part-A, was rectified and in regard to the third representation viz., the complaint dated 02.07.2018 against the Head of the Department, the respondent University has called for a report from the concerned Head of the Department for further action.

3. The averments in the counter affidavit reveals that all the three representations given by the petitioner has been acted upon. As such, the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous, since the three representations submitted by the petitioner to the first respondent has been considered. Hence, no effective orders can be passed in the present Writ Petition. The Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
