This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to process the petitioner's Application No. 2018/0103/03/119884 dated 01.11.2018 for Transfer of Patta within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he made an application dated 01.11.2018, before the first respondent, seeking transfer of patta in his name. Since no action has been taken on the same till date the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the relief stated supra.

3. Heard, Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 01.11.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 8 herein and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the respondents 3 to 8 as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
