PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, directing the Judicial Magistrate II, Kancheepuram, to complete the trial in C.C.No.106/2018 take cognizance under Sections 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and pronounce judgment within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate II, Kancheepuram, to complete the trial in C.C.No.106/2018 take cognizance under Sections 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and pronounce judgment within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is seen from records that a Final Report was filed by the respondent police on 04.01.2018 and the same has been taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Kancheepuram in C.C. No.106 of 2018. Thereafter, the case is being adjourned time and again and the trial itself has not effectively started in this case.

3. Taking into consideration the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Kancheepuram, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.106 of 2018 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
