PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first and second respondents to give police protection for the purpose of cleaning the petitioner's land measuring an extent of * 17 Ares 20 Cantaires as per Patta No.510 comprised in Cadaser No.372/2 Pt and Re-Survey No.161/13 of Ambakarathur village, Karaikal.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for direction to the respondent police to grant police protection to the petitioner for the purpose of cleaning the petitioner's land.

2. Mr.Bharatha Chakkaravathi, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the parties were called for an enquiry on 29.11.2018. During the enquiry, each of the party came to an understanding and also gave an undertaking with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

regard to the manner in which the property will be enjoyed by the respective parties. Based on the undertaking, the complaint was also closed by the respondent police.

3. In view of the above development, no further order can be passed in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
