2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, with the passage of time, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition.

3. In the light of that, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.38297 of 2018 is closed.
