ORDER

This Criminal Revision case has been filed to set aside the conviction and sentence passed in S.T.C.No.77 of 2012 on 14.02.2017 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level-II,

Coimbatore and having been modified by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, on 08.10.2018, in C.A.No.63 of 2017 and acquit the petitioner for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died on 12.09.2022 and therefore the charges as against him stand abated. He also produced the death certificate of the petitioner before this Court.

Recording the said submission, this Criminal Revision case stands dismissed as abated.
