Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta in respect of the lands in S.No.762/2 measuring 0.90 cents and 575/3 measuring 0.03 cents of Athiyamankottai Village based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2017.

By consent of both parties, the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in respect of the lands in S.No.762/2 measuring to an extent of 0.90 cents and in S.No.575/3 measuring to an extent of 0.03 cents situated at Athiyamankottai Village by considering his representation dated 20.05.2017.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 20.05.2017 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
seeking issuance of patta for the lands in S.No.762/2 and S.No.575/3 in his favour, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
