Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records of the second respondent in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V. No.892/2018 dated 26.09.2018 and quash the same and thereby direct the respondents to produce the son of the petitioner namely Thiru.Abimanyu, S/.Arivaali, aged about 23 years [Detenu] now detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J) It is represented that the impugned order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Advisory Board and subsequent to it, the Government vide order in G.O.Rt.No.5284, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 03.12.2018, revoked the order of detention dated 26.09.2018, pending against the detenu and he was directed to be released forthwith. The said Government Order is produced before the Court and the same is taken on file and record.

2. In the light of the said development, nothing remains for further adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To:
