ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioners are seeking quashing of the order dated 9.11.2018 passed by the second respondent, i.e., the District Revenue Officer, Perambalur.

2. We have perused the said order dated 9.11.2018. In the said order, in the second last paragraph, it is clearly stated that against the said order dated 9.11.2018, the petitioners can prefer an appeal before the Additional Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai, within a period of thirty days. Thus, it is seen that in the very said order dated 9.11.2018 it has been clearly mentioned that the petitioners can prefer an appeal against the order dated 9.11.2018. We are, therefore, not inclined to quash the said order dated 9.11.2018 and it would be open to the petitioners to prefer an appeal against the said order. If the petitioners prefer an appeal against the said order within a period of one week from today, the authority concerned shall consider the same de hors the question of limitation.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.39278 and 39281 of 2018 are closed.
