This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Cr.No.72/2016, pending on the file of the second respondent Police.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the investigation has been completed, and a final report has been filed on 27.07.2017, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Coimbatore, for an offence under Section 420, 406, 467 and 471 IPC. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the Final Report is yet to be numbered.

3. In view of the above development, there is no need to transfer the investigation. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to number the final report filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Coimbatore, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and the concerned Court shall proceed thereafter with the case in accordance with law and complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
