PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records relating to Crime No.420 of 2017, on the file of Satyamangalam Police Station, Erode and quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.420 of 2017, pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the incident did not take place and it is totally a false complaint. The learned counsel would also submit that there is a suit pending in O.S.No.29 of 2017, between the parties before the District Munsif Court, Satyamangalam and a civil dispute is now attempted to be given a criminal colour.

3. The grounds that have been raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner is a subject matter for investigation, and the same cannot be taken into consideration by this Court at this stage.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
