The present miscellaneous petition is filed to condone the delay of 2124 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the miscellaneous petition, the delay is condoned on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) in favour of CANCER INSTITUTE, ADYAR, CHENNAI within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order failing which this petition shall stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court.

On payment of costs within the stipulated period and production of receipt, Registry is directed to number the Writ appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
