ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to file final report in the above Crime No.70/2012 before the Jurisdictional Court viz., Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Poonamallee, within a stipulated period framed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police have registered a case in the above said crime number on 08.06.2012, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the final report is yet to be numbered.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to number the Final Report which has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate I, Poonamallee, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Court below is directed to proceed further and complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
